The Casablanca-Settat Regional Tourism Council (CRTCS) and the Greater Casablanca Runners Association (ACGC) have signed a partnership agreement at the CRTCS headquarters, aimed at strengthening Casablanca's appeal as a leading sports and tourism destination.
The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Othman Cherif Alami, President of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Tourism Council, Mr. Bouchta El Fadel, President of the Greater Casablanca Runners Association, organizer of the Casablanca Marathon, and Mr. Kacem El Bouanani, Secretary General of the ACGC.
Three ambitions shape this partnership
- Position the Casablanca Marathon as a benchmark sports and tourism event, nationally and internationally
- Generate an economic and tourism impact for the Casablanca-Settat region
- Build a lasting collaboration between the two institutions
As part of the agreement, the CRTCS will support the promotion of the race and bring together tourism professionals to develop offers tailored to runners, the people travelling with them, and visitors from Morocco and abroad.
Casablanca Marathon participants will enjoy an enhanced welcome: partner hotels close to the start line, preferential rates and stay ideas to extend the experience after the race.
